About Us
We're Here for New Brunswickers Living With Mental Illness.
The Schizophrenia Society of New Brunswick (SSNB) is a non-profit, community-based organization that has been serving New Brunswick since 1986. We began as a family support group called "Family and Friends" and grew into a province-wide organization offering education, recovery programs, and community connection.

Mission
To build a New Brunswick where people living with early psychosis, schizophrenia, and related mental illnesses achieve their potential.
Vision
To improve the quality of life for those affected by mental illness, and to promote a dignified, non-discriminatory quality of life for all.
Purpose
SSNB exists to improve the quality of life for those affected by mental illness and to promote a dignified, non-discriminatory life for all. We deliver recovery and education programs, raise awareness to reduce stigma, and connect New Brunswickers to the mental health resources and support they need, ensuring no one navigates mental illness alone.

Planned Giving
Your Gift Can Outlast You
What happens to the causes closest to your heart when you are no longer here to support them?
A planned gift to SSNB ensures that individuals and families living with mental illness in New Brunswick continue to receive the programs, education, and hope they need, long into the future.
Remembering SSNB in your will or estate plan is a meaningful and lasting act of generosity. Before making a planned gift, we encourage you to speak with a legal or financial professional to ensure your wishes are carried out in a way that suits your situation.
